Any pics of the 1/4 panels(interior) you had to redo? I always wonder how one would do them. Was it hard? Do you glass them to finish or do something entirely different to mimmic the grain pattern?
I wish I could say I'm further along, but as long as I'm moving forward I'm happy.

I just started the interior panels, but as soon as I have them filled and painted I'll post more pics.
I used 2 inch metal strips, screwed together with sheet metal screws to fit them in the car. After I had them fitting the way I wanted, I formed some 18 gauge sheetmetal from 3 different pieces to get the shape and then welded them together. I used some 1/8" rivets to join the metal to the plastic.
I can't really say how this is going to turn out, but looks promising so far.
Once I have them filled, I'm going to retexure them with Sem texturing paint, then I'll paint them with the interior black paint. I have a feeling these interior panels are not that easy to paint too. I'm trying some adhesion promoter between all my coats of filler and paint.
If they end up cracking, chipping I'll just get them upholstered.
