It takes a lot of work to get them right, but its worth it in the end. Nice progress.

IIRC - Payton said Dan is based out of a shop in Mooresville NC...

Thanks for comments guys. Dan is doing an excellent job. I could not be any more pleased and satisfied with the work he has done. Dan's shop is located in Mooresville, NC on the same road as the drag strip. His shop is just a few miles from DSE. Dan is a super nice guy who can fab is behind off.

Just take a look at the car Sick Fish that came from Rad Rides by Troy. There is a build book on it and Dan did a bunch of fab the fab work. He left Troy's and went to DSE for a few years and did alot of work on Michael Manning's car and some others.

Dan started his shop late last year, so if you need some great work done, look him up.

Plan is basic pro-touring but with stock sub and rear leafs. Basic car that sits right, has great body lines and gaps and WELL detailed engine bay. Alot of suttle things to make the car look clean but on a budget and not the 75k+ budget. Im trying to build a super nice looking car with some modern comforts and driving feel on an average guy budget. This is no stab to the high budget builds as I wish I could do afford to have that. This is for my wife and she will be cruising in it 99% of the time and not require that latest suspension technology.

Here are some of the major things:
- Hotchkis front springs
- DSE dash, rear leaf springs, steering box, swaybar and upper a-arms
- Koni shocks
- baer brakes (T4 front and SS4 rear)
- J Rushforth 18" Superspoke rims
- ZZ427 engine (car is original BB, but cheaper to buy crate than rebuild the 396 myself with similar parts that crate engine has)
- Custom interior but has stock type appearance here and there (ie..stock looking seats but more pronounced bolsters, one peice headliner, etc)
- Car will be original Glacier blue with medium blue interior
- vintage air Gen IV and frontrunner system
- Anvil carbon fiber peices here and there also.
