Default 1969 Camaro For Sale

Item Location (City/State): Florida

Price: $25,000

Description:

1969 Camaro Project

Up for sale is a 69 Camaro that I purchased several years ago. It was a running Camaro when I purchased it. My plan was to begin a full blown restoration on it which I did begin then wound up moving on to another more important project. Well as all things go time has gone by and much money has been spent only to find out I dont see myself getting around to this anytime soon. So I have decided to sell this one. I am completing a 68 BB Camaro convertible and have a 71 C10 back from paint shop and is next on my list. I just dont have time to get to this one.

A little about the 69. It was a plain jane 69 with a 350ci / T350 trans car. It does have a 12 bolt rear and factory tilt column in it. I pulled the car apart and had it put on a rotisserie where we could start with a clean slate. Upon media blasting we found very very little rust but it did show many areas of filler from dents and dings as well as the normal old school dent puller holes. Once it came back from media blasting it went directly to epoxy primer. The choice was made to replace several panels based on repair time and damage to those original panels. We chose to use GM Muscle in Hudson, Fl. for the sheet metal work as they specialize in Camaros and had done my 68 Camaro with great results. As part of this project we planned the car to be mini tubbed so they installed a Detroit Speed minitub kit when they were doing the metal work. The list of panel replacement was...

Both quarter panels ( AMD Panels )
Rear tail panel ( AMD with RS back up lights )
Both inner wheel wells and drop off panels ( AMD / Detroit Speed mini tub )
Trunk lid
Both front fenders ( AMD / with RS headlight )
Cowl induction hood ( AMD )
Metal dash replaced ( someone butchered up with gages and factory radio hole)
Rear driver side floor pan replaced
Front and rear floor pan replaced on the passenger side. Will need passenger seat pan welded in it was left out to help with installation of DSE subframe connectors installation.
everything else is factory GM including doors

The sheet metal work will need final fit and trim as expected during the painting process. The hard part is done.

I have everything that was removed from the car during disassembly in storage including glass, interior, seats, stainless trim, lighting, power steering, factory power front disc brakes etc.

The car is located in Central Florida area just south of Orlando.
Also have a newly built aluminum head 454 for an extra cost. ( It was going in this car )

Thanks for your interest.

Duckingman20,
I met with a very nice guy yesterday and he advised me he will take it. Pending payment this week and shipping logistics I would consider it sold. If anything changes, I will let you know.
Thanks for your interest.
