Default Need Pictures of Forgeline ZX3R Wheels on 1st Gen Camaro

Is anybody running the Forgeline ZX3R wheels on their 1st gen Camaro? I would like to see pictures of these wheels on a Camaro if possible. I'm having a hard time picturing them on a 68 Camaro.

I doubt you will find a Camaro with the ZX3Rs on it because they are racing wheels and have no center cap provisions. There is no center cap for them.

I do not have a ZX3R / Camaro picture, but I do have a ZX3P (street version) on a Firebird.

Frank,
Forgeline quoted me a price on the ZX3R's with center caps. I asked him to verify that those wheels have provisions for center caps. I should know tomorrow.

Where's the cheapest place to get Forgeline's? Any suggestions?

Ya know what. I did not know they got them finished. I have been on them about doing some center caps, guess they are done.

As for best deals, I think we sold almost all the Forgelines you see on the cars here.

The reason I was looking at the ZX3R's is because they were the only 17" wheel available through Forgeline. HOWEVER, after reading all the posts about 18" wheels on 1st gens, I'm slowly changing my mind on the 17's. I prefer the WC3's like Penny, but am curious if I can pull off the stance with 18's being that I'll be running the DSE 3" lowered leafs and their coilover set up on the front with their tubular CA's. What size wheels and backspacing would I need? I was going to run a 17x11 (5.5" BS) on the rear and 17x8 (4.875" BS) on the front. 315's and 245's tire sizes. What would be an equivalent size with 18's. I see most people are running 335/30/18's on the rear with mini tubs. Suggestions please.

It is funny. I got a call from Forgeline today asking me how popular I thought 17s would be if they were to expand their line and ad more 17s. We talked about it for a hour. Must have been instigated by your inquiry for 17s.

Call me tomorrow. We have set up dozens of these, but there are so many variables, and I talk much better then I type.

Go big or go home. Sounds like you are going to slam it pretty good. Thin sidewalls will look much better.
