Got a favor to ask here...my girlfriend's having some trouble with her car, it's a 2000 Mustang GT with a built 2V 4.6 (forged rotating assembly and bolt-ons)...it's sort of a mystery sound and she wanted some opinions on it. Here's the issue, in her words:

Hey everyone, I’ve encountered a problem and I’m wondering if anyone has any clues on this. Took a car to the dragstrip for the first time the other night. On its first pass, the stock clutch disc grenaded itself. So luckily, a friend had a new clutch laying around that fits it and it got installed over the weekend.
Now that the clutch is in, there’s a knock. After listening to it with the stethoscope, you can hear the sound at the front of the motor as well as back by the trans. It has a new pilot bearing installed now, and the flywheel was surfaced. Clutch was brand new when it went in. the sound pretty much has to be from something that is rotating, because it seems to travel with engine rpm. Also, I’m not sure, but it seems to come on more after the car has warmed itself up. Any ideas?

Thanks for any help you can offer us on this...
