Default Filler after patch panel install

I installed my first patch body panel this weekend, and overall it went okay. The repop section didnt fit very well and even after tweaking, bending etc etc the contour of part of the panel is off some where it meet the original. The contour of the new panel just doesn't "flow" perfect with the original panel

For my very first body panel patch, the final result is fair, but not as good as I had hoped. I was hoping to get a near perfect contour but it just didnt happen.

So it look like I'll need to use alittle more filler than I wanted, but it should be less than 3/16 inch at most.

So my question is related to fillers..... would it be best to use All Metal or Metal-2-Metal first over the butt welded seam ??

Then what type of filler ??? Evercoat Rage...Rage Gold.....Rage Extreme... etc etc etc

I want to use a quality product...cost is not my major concern

Default

all metal 1st coat, then rage extreme, you can use a cheaper filler for first coat after all metal but i always finish with extreme and 150-180 grit
