Default New weather strip question METRO Super Soft

I just put new metro weather stripping on my 69 bird and now when I roll up the window the weather stripping sticks to the window and binds up. I sprayed some lube to help cure the problem but it was only a short term fix. Anyone had this problem and have a cure for it? Thanks in advance!
It seems liks the seal just sticks to the window and will not allow it to slide freely.

Have you checked your window adjustment?

I have not checked my window adjustment. It worked fine with the old weather stripping. The new stuff just seems like it is so new and soft that it kinda just sticks to the window as it slides through it.
I will check the adjustment when I get off work tonight. Thanks for the reply

It worked due to the age hardened rubber and looser fit.
