Default Just got home from 2500k trek to get my 73 RS/z28 pics added

I just wanted to share a little of my story .
i have been lurking around here dreaming and thinking of building my second Gen for three or four years now .
after owning four second gens , trying to get a better more desirable car for restoration , i feel like i really lucked up and found what i feel was a deal of a lifetime for me of course.
I finally figured out , that i would probaly never have enuff time to complete a nice car build , much less a pro-touring beast . . .
I left out on thursday evening , and drove over 1300 miles one way to pick my new car up . i was literally at the guys house 30 minutes , and drove all the way home (my father was a lot of help as my co-pilot ) we slept for one hour at a rest area . We finally made it home last night at 6 o'clock.
I couldnt be more pleased with the car and cannot believe that i actually ended up with a 4spd R/S fitted z car . of course i want to change several things , but right now it is a nice driver ....so now my Journey begins to make it my own....
Im not sure how to post pix , so if somone wants to post them for me i can email a few .....
Sorry for the boring post , but i had to share my excitement.....
Terry

I did the same thing with a 1st gen. Glad to hear that someone else has reached a mile stone in having the car of there dreams. ENJOY IT!!!

To load pictures I down load mine to http://photobucket.com then you have to click on the little picture icon at the top of the message window and input the link photo bucket provides. Not sure if that helped but I want to see pictures of your car so hurry up and figure it out.

Default long trip....

I asked my wife upon walking out of my house , How could you have married someone so Ignorant? And as i was pulling onto the interstate , all i could see was the top of the map where i was heading , and knowing how far i had to go, and just thinking OMG , what is wrong with me? ....( I live in the extreme southern part of Alabama.)
All in all it was a really good trip with no problems , My Father and i got to spend some really good time together , something that we have not done in years and years , So that was also a memorable plus.
Like i mentioned in my previous post the car is really nice the way it is , very clean , Runs and drives perfect , It was just did in more of a late 80's style , like the previous owner told me , A saturday night special .
Although i am at work paying the price today from the long seat time and no sleep , if i knew i would end up with the same outcome , i would do it again in a heartbeat!!
As soon as i get home this evening i will be working on getting the pics up

The Car looks awesome. It won't take much to make it look more modern.

Favor - Can you take a picture of the hood showing the entire hood with the hood pins. I'm going to be building a 70 z28 and would like to see what my billet hood pins would look like on the hood.
