Default Time to look for some springs

I'm looking for a set of front coils for my 1970 GTO. I have the front suspension off the car and I'm about to start putting on all my new goodies to finsih mocking up my motor.

Details for front end:

6L iron LQ9 motor stroked to 408ci, A/C, P/S, etc, fiberglass front bumper (replaces 70lb+- endura setup), fiberglass hood, ATS tall spindles, SPC UCA's, C6 Z06 front brakes and C6 wheels.

Details for the rest of the car:

I'm projecting a weight of around 3600lbs. The car has power windows, locks, seats, rear window defrost, etc. But it will have fiberglass bumpers, hood, and possibly a trunklid.

The car will be street driven only and I'm looking for a comfortable ride with crisp handling.

Anyone have a front spring recommendation for me?

Depends on your entire suspension setup... but my recommendation that's inexpensive too is 9.5" circle track springs up front with the hidden adjusters, probably around 650#/in, and out back 5.5" x 11" or 12" circle track springs (depending on what ride height you want, the 11" are pretty low) in the 175#/in range.

The whole setup will cost you around $250.

You can get the springs & hidden adjustable shims from Speedway Motors. You'll need the tall shims.

I run 750# up front and 200# 11" single pigtails out back. I might cut the front back to 650-700# but I need some better shocks first.

The 11" springs will get you quite low... you can see pics in my signature. But if you want them taller you can add shims. If you buy 12" springs and they're too high then you have to buy the 11" springs.
