Default 65 442 trunk replacement

I few weeks ago I picked up a 65 442 post body. The car is very solid other than the trunk floor. I plan on selling it to help pay for some of the next stages of my 66 but I think it would bring a good bit more if it had a fresh trunk since the rest of the car is so solid.

Looks like there may be a couple manufactures of the trunk kit. Goodmark made in Taiwan sells about $180.00 then the is a USA made one for 309.00
Has anyone here had experience with either? Worth it to pay the difference?

The us made ones I have no experience with, but the goodmark ones, I do have experience with. My GTO has the same trunk floor as your olds I would just use the goodmark ones. They fit fine and mine dropped right in, Just a hell of a lot of welding. I would take a look at the bottoms of the quarters on the inside. That spot normally rust out too. I know they make a one peice complete trunk floor that is like a stock replacement.

I ended up getting the goodmark. Looks like it will fit fine. I got the floor out last weekend. teh problem now is one of the trunk dropoffs and both lower 1/4's.
Not either one are made. Looks like I will be making by hand.

I thought the same thing but I am being told by several 64/65 Olds owners that they are different.
Its only the bottom 3 inches or so I need. I thought about ordering one but did not want to have the hassel of sending back if its wrong. I guess I should post on performance years to see if anyone has a nice clear picture of what it looks like form the under side.
