Really Charlie, it's something you should experience more than once.

We're back on 24-hour days trying to get the GTO on the road for the Tour, so I can't be responsible for my posts for the next 29 days!

Power Tour ?

Yeah. We're almost done with the chassis and driveline, and the owner wants to take the car on Power Tour with a satin 2-tone look just to drive it and see how it feels. Then we bring it back to the shop for paint, bodywork, and upgraded interior for SEMA. Kind of an unusual way to do things, but it should be fun to be able to thrash on it without worry of getting it scratched up. After Tour it will need quarters (not-so-great repair by the previous shop) and a trunk floor, straightening and paint. But, who knows, he may like the pre-tour look and keep it that way in 2-tone satins. Either way, we're pretty busy this month!
