Default new German "pro-touring" ride

It's been awhile since I posted - been on some other sites trying to learn as much as I can about my new ride as I knew nothing about Porsches! I sold my M3 and replaced it with a 2001 Porsche 996 Twin Turbo. The used 996 market is pretty soft right now so I scored a very good deal on this car in Arizona with some nice mods. Has a Stage 2 kit on it (about 525 hp), RWD conversion (front driveshaft, axles, diff removed), Fabspeed exhaust, and I just put HRE matte black 19s on it. 235 fronts, 315 rears. Let me just say I am addicted to the rush of 2 turbos coming on around 3500-3700 rpm! I needed to get this to keep me sane while waiting for my endless 68 Camaro project to get finished. Hopefully that will be ready in the next month or so (said that before!) LOL!

Thanks!

Many Porsche guys started doing that a couple years ago basically to make the 996TT a poor man's GT2 (factory Turbo with RWD). It removes 75 lbs from the front end and takes away some of the driveline loss. I have seen reports of 5-10% higher dyno readings just going from AWD to RWD on these cars.
