Default wheel and tire fitment on a 66 chevelle 300?

Will 20x10 wheels with 6" backspacing & 315/35/20 tires along w/ 17x7 wheels w/ 215/45/215 and 4 1/2 Bs fit on a 66 chevelle 300? If not, is there a way to adapt them? If the rears won't, could I use a spacer and put on a narrower tire? I Want to be able to lower the car down over the whees. Everything on the car is stock. Was wanting to go 18's and 20's but found this deal. What would be a good fit with the 18's and 20's comfortably?
Thanks Lenie

20x10 will work but a stock wheelwell won't take a 315. 285 is about the max and that's with just right backspacing. I wouldn't run 17s on front if you're going to run 20s out back. The 3" stagger will look funny, especially with that tiny tire. Jon@DriverzInc can tell you exactly what backspace to use since he had 19x8s and 20x10s stuffed nicely in his 66 with no issues. I'd be wary of spacers to make it fit too. Not the safest solution. Better off to hold out for the right fit.

Thanks guys, I passed on the wheels and will wait for the right size to come along. I'm looking for 18's and 19's, 18's and 20's or 19's and 20's. I'm looking for a wheel similar to the new fuel, flat 5 spoke that tapers from small to bigger. Can't afford new ones so I'll wait for someone to sell used. If any of you are looking to make a change and have something that resembles my needs, fly me a pm. I don't need the rears to be max width, just the right bs. By the way , someone please fly me a line on what the correct bs is
Thanks again for the quick replies.
Lenie
