I've done a couple of marine blower motors and agree w above. If I'm not mistaken, most blower applications (roots, screw, centrifigul) use the same unit for marine or automotive. Engine differences have to do with cams, valve selection (inconnel exhaust), wet exhaust, forged bottom ends, sealed accessories, etc...

Marine motors are set up like RV's going up a hill, little momentum beyond the motor's acceleration. Always on, lots of heat!

The marine specific blowers have different impeller blades designed for better efficiency at lower boost levels (5-10psi). I worked with Jim Summers from Procharger about 5yrs ago testing their units on the dyno. Also...the nomenclature is slightly different (M2 sized same as D1) and so on...

There are a variety of tubing suppliers. For aluminum we like the Vibrant Performance stuff. Super nice and polished. If a natural or your not worried about some "marks" in the tubing we usually source them from Raceparts Solutions or any aircraft tubing supplier.
