Default 67 ZR-1 C-6 Vette by Modern Muscle

Hi Guys,

I wanted to share our next big project. As many of you know last year, we launched a new car line called Modern Muscle with three models: 69 camaro, 70-71 cuda, and 69-70 Mustang Fastback.

Then we signed a licensing agreement with Mr. Norm for all of our mopars so we have a void in our Modern Muscle Line.

We are proud to announce that we are adding 63-67 corvettes to the line-up. These cars will be C-4, C-5, or C-6 based builds depending on our client's preferences.

Our prototype #001 car will be a completely C-6 based LS-9 1967 corvette coupe. We are using a brand new LS-9 engine from GM Performance Parts & all C-6 vette components. I am sharing some pictures of the progress we have made already. I will continue to add pictures along the way. We will be unveiling this car at SEMA 2009.

Thanks
Mike Staveski

We think it should come in around 3000 lbs and we plan to run one size smaller pulley so power should be around 700 HP. It will be controlled by a FAST computer system.

We are hoping Optima does the street car shootout again because we would love to test it out right after SEMA. Maybe I could borrow Dave and Mary from Steve to drive it for us next year????

Thanks for all interest already,
Mike

Sweet project! Too bad you can't get a little more dish on the rear wheel though.

Yes, that would look better but the whole idea is to replicate the engineering & look of ZR-1 vette. There is give and take on any project. You lose alittle look but gain better performance. We really want this to drive just like a new ZR-1 vette. I have read in Car and Driver or Motor Trend where they are calling the vette a "hyper car" & Ferrari & Lambo owners shouldn't even try..... That is a pretty strong statement from a major magazine.
