Default Render Critique

Hey guys, I know some of you on this site are pros, and have done a lot of work for people all over the place, so I would like a critique on one of my latest pieces. It's a 67 Mustang that I rendered for G-Force Design Concepts. Everyone seems to like it which is cool, but I would like some negativity. Negativity is what makes designers/artists better. So have at it. Thanks.

Looks good. Looks alot like the car that Bobby Alloway built a couple years ago.

It looks really great...but...I'm tired of seeing Shelby stripes on every Mustang ever built.

That's all the negativity I could muster.

Looks good, if I had to be negative like you asked for the wheels look to thin sort of wonky crooked and toy like.

Not bad, looks like you've had some training. Keep working on perspective as far as your linework goes. The back looks a little too truncated, narrowed and rounded, and front lower valence is a little too blocky. Define that far A-pillar a little more in the front view. Your marker cores look pretty good and gradient areas are nice and smooth without looking muddy. That's tough sometimes.

There's no way to rush the process, it takes many years and millions of mistakes. Stick with it and don't be afraid to make a mess!

I love it! I "get" his slight distortions... they make it look a little cartoonish and fun. Great work! Got any more? These would make awesome teeshirts and diecasts... a little twisted, but not over the top with giant Roth-like blowers and stuff. Very cool!

And 'cause you requested feedback, the only thing I would change is the pass. quarter line at the top... it needs to go straight first, then meet the decklid profile like the driver side does. It kinda pitches up too early now, in my opinion. Other than that, I dig!

Looks great to me. I am not much of an artist, but I would say to try a contrasting color for the background to help define the rooflines better around the stripes.
