Default Metal roof liner installed

Custom metal roof liner (interior) installed this week. Very very happy with how it has come out, exactly what I was after. Shop has done an amazing job on it.

Very cool....I do think we can use all the insulatioin possible however. I insulated plenty and my car is still pretty loud. Metal is not a very good sound absorber.

looks good but what was the motivation behind doing this? How do you plan to finish it off?

Very diffrent I like it but are you going to have some insulation in there? I would imagine it will get pretty hot on a sunny day.

I sprayed 3/8 insulation between the headliner. I hope that will keep the heat down.

I have the original factor installed insulation plus some additional padding. Further as this is made out of a roof skin with 5 inches removed from the center then welded in pretty tight, right now there is zero movement or vibration. Mind you the car isn't running yet, so i am hoping that it will be pretty quiet. But if it isn't that's fine.
