Well as promised here are some pics of my new project ..its a 65 coupe with a 351 cleveland ,toploader gearbox and big 9 inch with a locker ..this car will be my street/track toy it already has disc brakes on the front, koni shocks and a panard bar out rear ..i think at one time in its life it was a track car as it has not been registered for 15yrs...this is right out of the 60`s Trans-Am era ..here are some pics
Started some minor body work and primered the pass side
well i sanded the pass side down and primered it.... also cleaned up the wheels and painted the centers semi gloss black ..installed a shelby lower valance ..i have been rewiring the car and generally cleaning it up in my spare time its now registered and i am just waiting on a fuel cell and ill take it for a test run.........
That is one cool little car you got there.... I'd like to find project like this to play with one of these days (shhh don't say anything or my son will think I'm finally cracking and breaking down on the Ford front,,, 8 GM's here LOL)....

ok i finally got a chance to go over everything and took it out for its or should i say my first test drive..its a beast here is a small video of me keeping the neigbours happy ..turn up the volume..and yes it has mufflers on it..
under the tarp is or was a 66 a code fast back that went to New Zeland.....did not have the heart to cut it up and make a race car out of it...
here is an updated pic of the coupe with the shelby nose and blacked out hood...
I might turn this into a fastback as well but cant decide if i want to do it or not...stay coupe or go fastback ????its only $700 in sheetmetal to make it a fastback...
