Default Corbeau A4's or TRS???

Well...I am selling my Corbeau Forza's so that I can get some kiddie seats in the back of the car when we hit the car shows. Major pain in the butt with the fixed back seats. So I am sticking with Corbeaus since I really liked them and have the brackets. The two I am looking at are the A4's and the TRS. Anyone had them or both wanna tell me how you liked them??

Thanks!

Default hope you're skinny

I have an A4. it's a nice seat but unless you are smaller/skinny I would recommend going with one of their wider seats. I'm pretty thin, 6' 5", 34" waist. I totally fit in the seat but it's just a little cramped... for a race car you might want it that snug but for a street car it's nice to not have pressure on your hips the whole time...

Thanks for the info! I am 5' 10" with a 36" waist so maybe I should go for the TRS. They say are for 36-38 waist.

I have the standard TRS seats in my car, they are also a bit on the narrow side. The shoulder bolsters can feel tight especially if you are a broad shouldered guy. The thigh bolsters are also pretty high to get over, Im 5'6'' 180 with pretty wide shoulders they are a little tight up top. A friend of mine bought them in the wide version and I thought they were much more comfortable. Some of my buddies are 200+ pounds they look shoe horned in to those seats, if theres any way you can try the seat on for size I would highly recommend it. Its amazing how different they can be. Its almost as if they should have spread or widened the shoulder bolsters just a bit more.
You may want to look into the Legacys/LG1's they are similar in design but I understand not as tight. Talk to Jim at motorsportsseats.com he has great prices and can describe the fits pretty well.

Do everything in your power to "test sit" any seat you are thinking about buying. It will make a huge difference in your final decision.

Descriptions and personal commentaries are great, but it just cant replace a first hand trial. I know it can be hard to find the seats you want and be able to sit in them, but it can be done. Car shows are a great place.... just be polite and curteous and most guys will let you sit in their car for a minute... just be clean and dont start fondling the rest of the car

I have the Corbeau CR1's in the wide version.... I'm 6'3" 210 lbs and they fit perfect for me..... snug and comfortable but not too tight or restrictive for a street car.
