Looks super cool. Although I would not run it on a convertible. Firewall bracing on convertibles puts all the pressure on the door hinge pins and strikers, not too cool. On a coupe, they have to help. It is simple math.

If you want to try a set we still have our smokin 20% off Hotchkis special.

Frank,

I'ld love to purchase that from you but will it also fit when the Guldstrand mod has been done?

Does anyone know if it will stiffen up the handling, on a street car? Not autox or anything but really like the "ride on rails" feeling.

You will find that it significantly stiffens the whole platform, eliminating body flex and definitely giving the "ride on rails " feel.

It doesn't look like it'll work on fuel injected cars that have LSx or LT1 engines if you're using a stock style intake due to the cross bar. Any solution in the works for that? Say a curved cross bar?

I was hoping it would clear an LS engine since it sits lower than the old style engines but you may be right. An answer to that question from someone using it or the mfr would be highly appreciated.

Oh and there's still the question whether it would work with the Guldstrand mod or not!

That's a great question, it doesn't look like it would.

I would have to say no but maybe. If you did the G Mod by simply drilling a couple holes lower and kept the upper holes, it may still bolt into the original holes? Now I am going to have to try it...............After Barrett Jackson and SEMA.

In the mneantime I will get Hothkis to send me a set, I have the perfect car to test them on. but we may have to modify the cross bar as this car is supercharged.
