Default What wheel size/backspace for a 9.5 or 9" up front on a 69

I'm going to try and stuff a 17x9 or a 17x9.5 with a 275 up front on my stock subframe with steering stops....

Anyone have any ideas on backspacing?

This will be for my street tires. Going with some PSE minilites or maybe V48s

In theory, then, by keeping the same amount of front space on a normal fitment (8 with a 4.875" BS) you would need to run a 9" with a 5.875" BS.

Good luck! What wheels are you planning on running? Keep us in mind if we can facilitate the sale.

carl c has 285s (used to have 275s)on 9.5s on his car and 4 corners with a stock sub. he said his BS is at 5.75. anf there is NO room for error.
