Default Chevelle Brakes

I have a 70 chevelle im going to be purchasing some big brakes for soon. What do you suggest? Id like to run a 13 or 14 inch rotor up front and maybe 12 or 13 in the rear.

Those are very sweet. Do they offer a similar rear kit? Doesnt have to be 6 piston, but something that the caliper willbe similar? Where is the cheapest place to order these from.

Well, there are these for the back. I don't what rear axle you have but they offer it for a number of the bigger GM stuff and any of the 9" stuff.

As for pricing, shop around. Maybe call Wilwood direct, they may suprise you.

Yea, thanks for the info, i found those rear kits too. I am going with a 9 inch rear, but not sure what ends it will have on it yet. It looks like an awsome kit and much cheaper than the baer setups. I like these calipers much better too. I am a dealer for hundreds of aftermarket brands, so ill try and call up wilwood to see what I can workout with them or maybe i can get an account with one of their distributors.

It looks like summit has the drilled fronts and rears for about 2200. Thats about the price or less of the front baer kit alone.

No no no... Denny has it all wrong. You really want to buy the 2-piece rotor Baer Track kit off my car, so *I* can buy the 6-piston Wilwoods.

Wilwood seems to have the quality/performance vs. price ratio down pretty good.

Other very good options that immediately come to mind would be AP Racing, Alcon, Brembo, and Stoptech, but I believe all will be priced a bit more than a similar Wilwood setup.
