Default Coolest thing anyone has said about your car

we've had a lot of fun with the 'dumbest thing' thread, and it got me thinking...how about the opposite?

There are a slew of cool cars on here, and surely we've all heard some nice things in addition to the dumb stuff. Let's hear it?

One of the coolest things I've heard about my car was when I pulled in to gas up before putting the car up for the winter last year. I pulled up to the pump and got out, and the guy using the pump across from me said

"I heard you coming from pretty far away, but that car is NOT what I expected to see sounding so good."

Made my night.

One time I pulled into a car show parking lot and a few minutes after I got there a guy came up to me and said "I wasn't planning on coming to this show, I was actually just passing by. But when I saw and heard your car I just had to at least come in and see this thing"
I was pretty flattered.

The coolest compliment ive ever had was from a guty who bought another car from me, and i took him fpor a ride in the malibu to settle an argument over weather american cars could handle or not... He is a used BMW dealer and came in a 540 bmw on 19 inch rims and bilstein suspension.. and he looked at me after getting out and said that he had never been in a car that could corner that well...

I was standing outside at a frend of mines barber shop that he owned and a guy rolled up in a 70 C10. He got out and said, "Nice car, want to sell it?" I then said, "Nope." He then stated how beautiful she was and offered me $25k. He also stated how serious he was on that price. I further stated that it wasn't for sale, especially due to the fact I had just gotten her running and all so I hadn't had time to enjoy it for myself. So, the moral of the story is that it is just the opposite of someone saying something dumb is... at least this guy realized car quality and offered me a decent price and didn't offend me with a cheap price. I guess his affection of cars should have been obvious due to the fact he was in a nice, black 70 C10 with a pretty darn good sounding cam in the motor.

This is as good as it gets for me. I'll take a Go compliment over a show compliment every day that ends in Y. Not my best autocross performance but I think he was talking about the road course.

Some words that end in Y need not apply...
