Default Coil Over Shocks

Hello all,

Just curious, I've been looking at some QA1s (DDR3955P / DDR4855P) for the coil overs for my project. I had a guy propose some Penske 8300's or even 8760's.

Would it be worth flipping the extra coin for the Penske units? Anything else folks would recommend?

I intend on doing autocross / track with some time on the streets.

Thoughts?

Would not spend the dough for penske's,QA1's or strange single ajustable's just fine for a few autox's & track days. That's what I have on my camaro. They are on the soft setting and just them alone.

I agree, the QA1's would do just fine in my opinion. I wouldn't spend the extra coins on Penske unless I were doing some serious track days on a high competitve level. But, for weekend track days and for recreational fun.....QA1's.

Don't forget about the AFCO's. They are just a tad more expensive than the QA1's but in my opinion much higher quality....
