Default Paint first or Powdercoat?

I'm trying to decide whether to have my suspension components powdercoated before I have the body of the car painted or after. I feel like doing it after the car is painted could cause damage to the body or misalignment of panels while installing or removing the suspension. On the other hand having it powdercoated before paint I would have to worry about the over spray. Any suggestions or tips?
