Default remote reservoir install question

Ive got this nice steering reservoir that Mike at MuscleRodz fabbed up. My question is how important is it for the outlet of the reservoir to be above the inlet to the pump? The highest I can mount it will put the outlet about 1 inch below the inlet to the pump. Is there suction on that side of the pump or is it strictly gravity fed? More than 90 percent of the fluid in the reservoir will be above the inlet to the pump. Question is how low can you go - Thanks Rich

you want to keep it as high as possible but yes the outlet can be lower then the inlet of the ps pump, however you want as much of the fluid above the inlet to the pump as you can.
