Default 1968 Carbon Camaro

Hey everyone. Well here is another one of our current builds being built here at GB Performance Restorations. It started out as actually a really clean 68 Camaro Convertible. Some die hard Camaro lovers might be a little upset that we cut up a car that was this nice but it is what the customer wanted to use. We designed the build around the 345/30/19 in the rear and a 265/35/18 in front. After deciding on wheel and tire size we then ordered a TCI bolt on front tubular clip. Also using Wilwood 12" front and rear drilled and slotted disks. We were originally going to use the Unique Performance rear bolt in clip but they went out of business. So we instead decided to go with the Art Morrison 3 link set up. The customer wanted to go with a new age style on the car so we ordered all Carbon Fiber panels from Anvil, including a hood, deck lid, wiper cowl, and upper valance. Also some of the parts we will be fabricating. The pictures of the car sitting outside are at neutral ride height. While using a wooden wheel cut to the diameter of the wheel. The car is sitting next to a 69 Camaro that has also been lowered but you can see how low this one will truly be. Here are some pictures of the current state of build, followed by pictures from start of build. We are currently waiting for the customer to purchase the drive train. Were planning on going with the new LS9 with a 6 speed transmission. More pictures to be updated soon.
