Default Chevelle Month at the Roadster Shop

Well, it is apparently Chevelle month here at the Roadster Shop! In the past week we have had 3 new arrivals that are in for the full Roadster Shop Chassis treatment. All will be getting our new lower profile chassis design that has been in the works for a few months.

Here is a cool shot of our assembly room loaded with 5 Chevelles!

I'll start a build thread on each as they get under way, but wanted to use this a a quick introduction.

The blue 65 was built as a daily driver with a lot of go. The customer was not very happy with the ride quality, stance, or the fact that he could only get an 8" wheel under the rear with the stock chassis. The car made 500+ HP at the rear wheels and a 235 just wasn't cuttin it out back!

Nice twin turbo LS for a daily driver. Another local shop did the motor and it has plenty of go!

Looks like the market value of Chevelles around the world is going to go up a few notches!

The gold 70 is an unrestored, highly optioned Malibu from texas. Original paint, all original trim, original interior that looks like it is still brand new. It even has the original bill of sale, warranty card, keys, and window sticker with it. Almost too nice to turn into a pro-touring machine....almost!

I haven't seen too many of these on Chevelle's/Malibu's

Too bad this wasn't a LS6 Chevelle or something valuable because it has all the documentation to bring the big bucks!

The plan is to keep the exterior as is. he interior might stay the same too. Not 100% sure yet... it might get new seats, steering, and a gauges to make it a little more modern and easier to drive. It is going to get one of our Fast Track chassis and we are working with a few other compajnies currently on engine/trans, wheels, tires, and brakes. More details to come as we tear into it!
