T5 shifters?

I'm putting a T5 from an IROC in my 69 Camaro using the stock 69 bellhousing to rotate the trans to the "straight-up" position. As such I cannot use a Camaro shifter because of the angle. Will a Mustang shifter fit the GM trans? I'm assuming the T5's were mounted straight-up in the Fox body cars?

OK-got no responses so I answered my own question.The Mustang shifter does not fit the GM T5.I bought a used one and it's not even close. So,let the surgery begin.......
