It's an excellent choice. We run the Dominator EFI in our 55 Chevy shoprod. It's a twin turbo'd 570" BBC with DIS, DBW, Dual WBO2, 4L80E and Water/Meth added on. We also use the multi map capability to switch between pumpgas and E85 tunes.
When time allows...we've been working on E85 fuel economy. We've netted 11.5mpg to date. With the trans control, you can pull up fuel economy and work the tune with ease for cruise (just change target a/f, base map is self learning). Awesome resolution (31x31 tables)
Here's the link to download their software. If you have any questions..I'll be happy answer.

EZ EFI doesn't have igntion control...and an XFI requires and XIM for COP and the Trans controller (reboxed PCS unit) for trans control. We had an XFI/PCS unit in there...certainly worked well. It's just plain easier and have added control with everything in one s/w package (logging and tuning). Cost for the Holley stuff should be quite abit cheaper aswell.
