Is that 1500 hp canadian? if so, it is only 1200 US.....
Sorry, been up your way all week and could not resist.
That is a ton of hp either way, sounds like its Lenco time to me. Is this a daily driver? If so, we needs some pictures bro.

For an auto I would suggest a well built Powerglide or TH400 with a neil chance converter.

And wouldn't recommend a manual unless your going to put a Tilton Carbon/Carbon clutch in it.

Either of these options are going to run you north of $10k.

crazy1969 -
If those hp numbers hold up, then you are in the same vicinity as my car. If you have your heart set on a manual transmission, look up Promotion Performance, call Walt at (800) 771-6843). They specially built me a TKO600 that he thinks solid to 1400 hp. Others have used G-Force with some luck (717) 202-8367. I know that TwinSting put one of these in his 1500 hp twin turbo 63 vette. Also, Bob Johnson has one in his wild 1000+ hp nitrous injected 'Cuda.
That should get you started. I think Bob also said that Centerforce is coming out with a twin disc clutch. This will compete with McLeod's twin.
