Default Recaro Specialist /Expert

Hey Guys I have a 69 mustang fastback That's 90 percent street driven 10 percent track I'm in the market for new seats And I'm not a big fan of the way aftermarket race seats look. I noticed that detroit speed uses the recaro specialist/expert With a 4point harness on most of their projects. Does anybody have any real world experience with the seats are they worth the extra cash there about double what the average seat cost.

Thanks

I will have my seats tomorrow. I hope to get some time in soon and will let you know, I looked at it as if dse uses them so much they must be worth it. but we will see. it was hard to spend the extra $

Thanks for the update brownz. What are you going to use for mounts? Did you have to special order them? The local Recaro dlr near me said 8-12weeks.

Check Fesler. I ordered mine through them a couple of weeks ago. Got the seats, brackets and sliders in a week.

Ok I was going to buy a new pair of Recaro seats until I found these.

Then 2 days later I found these and picked them up also.

The plan is to use the pair in the first pic because they have thigh extension which make for a little more comfort on those long drives. The 2nd pair I will most likely sell I really have no need for a extra pair of seats.
I found a guy that recovers Recaro seats and does excellent work.
