Just curious if anyone has seen any Lat-G spec DeLorean's.

http://delorean.com/

Have you ever driven one? I did, once. I think it had a v6 from Volvo and a.manual tranny. I was so under impressed I wanted to barf.
It was stock and seriously lacking power, suspension and brakes.

A LSx with twins, better suspension, and brakes too. Might make it fun. But no matter what you do it will still be fugly........serious case of fugly.

Nope, never driven one. Obviously there is a movie link, and have an certain appeal because of it.

There is a thread on supraforums about one with a 2jz-gte single turbo swap.

I think with few simple cosmetic changes, reworked suspension and nice set of wheels they can look very good and with right powerplant can perform well too.

Sorry Stefan --- I'll go with Eric's assessment.... no matter what you do with these -- they're for non car guys that are mostly movie buffs... and back to the future wannabes... As a "car" they're just a waste of effort.
