Default Once again.. PHR wants YOU.. well at least your car..

Just about all the cars sent in have made it into the magazine so it is time to put out the word once again.

If you read the book then you are invited to send in pics for the newly redone HOMETOWN HOTRODDING. Bigger pics and full color are the biggest upgrades.

Don't care what kind of car it is.. PT, PS, whatever.. variety is the spice of life and if the car is cool we will print it.. simple.

Oh, with the new format the better pics get printed bigger. If I get a cool engine shot then you could end up with two pics in the book. Heck, I just gave one guy an entire page just for his car. No excuses for not getting ink in a magazine anymore. It's up to you.

NOTE: I have gotten some great submissions but the images were HORRIBLE resolution, 72dpi will not cut it now will 300dpi pictures that are 1x2 inches in size. Again, if you take some time and take some good pics then they will most likely run larger. We have also gotten some track shots that were pretty cool. In fact Alcinos submission of his car on the track got him a full on 5-page feature, so you never know.

Send submissions along with some tech and "human interest" info on your car/truck to [email protected]

Oh, and if James Greenwell of Louisville, Kentucky is out there.. I would love to run your '89 IROC but the images you sent are too small/lowres - I would have contacted you but could not find your email addy.

Our readers ARE the magazine, step up and show off your ride!

Thanks

You have mail.

But hurry up before I have to sell it! There's a baby on the way, I want to eliminate my debt, get a bigger house and we both need newer cars...

Maybe it could be shot indoors somewhere. Come on! You're the car magazine expert. Surely there's a way...

No, I'm not as bad as you, but close.

I sent pictures. Did you try to reply? I got an e-mail from someone recently but all fields were blank so I don't know where it came from or what was intened to be in it. If you did, please try to send it again.

I should have a decent car to shoot by May. It'll have a slam stance and great paint and body to boot. I clean it with my tooth brush. The color looks similar to your 1968 camaro Steve. It is actually Dupont Hot Hues (Sinful Cinamon). I was going to put stripes on it but feel that the nice clean look with a set of polished wheels will do the trick.

I love PHR and just got a 2year for christmas.

Steve, I would love to send you my pictures once the car is finished. Sometime in Feb. Hopefully.

Steve,

Seeing my 69 Camaro in print would be BEYOND COOL! It would be an excellent tribute to my dad and something to keep for a lifetime. Found a company in Tampa "In the News" that turns the mag articles into beautiful display pieces.

Would any of these pics and info Scott gathered in high resolution work?

I just sent the photos. I hope the file was not too large. They are high resolution images.

With Scott's permission, I would like to use the same thing we wrote up for Lat-G, less any editing needed to make it fit the column. The tech info is still all the same.
