Default 1965 Mustang FAST TRACK build at Roadster Shop

With a decidedly GM and Mopar flavor from us the last few months, figured it was time to give the blue oval a little love. A few of you have caught this one in the background in other threads a few times, so here we go!

Joel dropped off this fantastically bland and slightly disheveled '65 Mustang fastback at the shop about 10 months ago. The plan would be a nicely refined '65 utilizing our full FAST TRACK IRS chassis and Ford 5.0 'Aluminator' motor coupled to a T56. Some subtle styling tweaks, modern interior refinements and materials combined with the new underpinnings should make for a great all round 'gt' style car. Highly capable, comfortable and stylish.

First task as always, full tear down and blast to see what we have:

You know it!
More teardown and out to be blasted. Outcome was not too bad. Some rust holes in various typical places, but certainly not the worst we have seen.

Fit up for the FAST TRACK IRS Mustang chassis.
