The earth was like NOM NOM NOM

Wonder if it was an under ground cavern or just an underground stream. What ever it was it was a big as hole.

Looks like a river that is outside of it's banks. I wonder if these guys are standing on a dike or road and there is a culvert under the whirlpool? I've seen a similar effect on a smaller scale.

Crap!!! Who the heck pulled the drain plug on the lake?!?!!

Seriously tho, what's the story on that? It's eating up tons of very large chunks of ice and never plugs up? If it wasn't a designed "hole", wouldn't there be a break in the levee or something??
