Wheel ideas for the average man

I'm not a Nascar driver with a endless budget to blow. Just an average working man that has been saving his ass off for some tire and wheels for a 1st gen. Mini tubed in the back and a aftermarket subframe in the front. Looking to run 295 and 335 18's. Any ideas on a reasonably priced wheel?

i guess first question would be whats reasonable to you?
running the wide sizes somewhat hinders your cheap options.

Is it possible to find a 18x12 with a custom offset for under a G?

CCW tends to be on the more reasonable end of things when it comes to custom backspacing wheels.

Forgestar has some new wheel designs that tend to look better on late model cars, but can definitely fly old school too. Super reasonable, but they do not have back spacing for really narrow rear ends. Fronts should be no problem though. 18 x 10 are around $350.00.
The Weld Racing wheels we have on our car now are more expensive than the Forgestars, but are substantially less than Forgelines or HREs. Super light weight, strong, and lots of sizes too.

18x12 and "reasonable" aren't in the same vocabulary.

Plan on spending at least 4K for a set of wheels and tires

Sounds like you're spending a lot of $ in other areas (tires, minitubbing, etc) so I would advise against skimping on wheels. They can make or break a car.

That being said, maybe try Team III if you like the old mini lites.

yup ccws are around 700 each for 18x12s.

Custom wheels - I know where you can get a set of forged three piece wheels, any design except monoblock in those sizes for $3200 not including tires. PM me if interested...
