So I had to pick up my kid from basketball camp. I hate driving for the most part but there along the freeway sits a shiny red 69 Camaro. Had to stop. The owner comes out to talk to me about it. Freshly redone. New everything. Clean restoration.

Then he invites me into his shop to show me his other 69 he is rebuilding.
Man I love this blue. forgive the cell phone pics. Very nice car. He's replacing everything.

Then to finish off the surprising trip he shows me this big block bubble top SS with a outstanding color combo. The pics don't do it justice. It was stunning.

Tmadden, didn't know you were on this side of town today. That's Duncanville, right off of Hwy 67. I've been to that place before. They sale most of their cars on consignment. I hate to say it, but the owner is an a$$hole. Let me give you are short scenario. I go in there one day and had on my firefighter uniform and inquired about a car. He automatically tells me it's more than I can afford. No smile, no laugh afterwards, nothing. He wasn't joking. He had no idea what I could afford or buy. And if that was the way he treated his customers he probably doesn't sell much of anything. I vowed to never buy so much as a screw from him, yet alone a car. After that, I never went in there again and I'm always over that way because that's my battalion of there for my fire station. Not to mention his prices are too damn high anyway. Maybe because he adds on an arm and a leg on top of the owners asking price.
