Default 68 RS barn find

This one really was found in a barn.

Supposedly, the original owner parked it in his barn, (New Mexico) covered it with hay, and there it sat for many years.

After he passed, his son and daughter were getting his estate together and found it....under a large pile of hay!

They both thought he had sold it because they hadn't seen it for years! I guess he was quite secretive LOL.

It is a pretty solid car.

I have more pics that I will post later. Going with a resto-mod theme.

Perhaps he hid it under hay because he didn't want it getting repoed. Or he was running from the law, or it was stolen. Or he was caught with another man's wife in it. Some interesting reason right? Just giving you a hard time bro. Welcome to the site. Nice find and keep us updated.

That's awesome! It has the deluxe style interior too with houndstooth. Pretty neat right there!

I want more history on the "bridal party" sticker! That's what's so great about these old cars, so many stories.

LOL, I wondered about that myself.

Speaking of the trunk, we found a box of new GM windshield and rear window moldings....go figure.
