We started this program last year on 5-4 and depending on when you signed up there are emails coming out from the forum software saying it's set to cancel if you don't renew. Here is an example:

Your access to the paid subscription "supporting member" is about to expire.

If you have selected a recurring subscription you will be automatically billed for the renewal, else to renew this subscription you must visit https://lateral-g.net/forums/payments.php4

If you do not extend your subscription, access will be removed.

These are set to auto-renew through Paypal, so unless you canceled that through your Paypal panel they will renew automatically.

I'm asking you to please NOT sign up again through the link in this email. I believe this will result in double billings. We'll know for sure in a couple days when the one-year has officially passed and everything works the way I believe it will.

I apologize for the confusion. This is our first paid subscription, and I think I know how it'll work, but I'm not positive until it's happened.

I think I've changed the wording in the email to the following:

Your access to the paid subscription "supporting member" is about to renew.

You will be automatically billed $25. for the one year renewal. If you wish to cancel the subscription please do so through your Paypal account settings.

Thanks Rick! Did you get an email from Lateral-G in advance? How about Paypal? Was the email from Lateral G like the one quoted above, or did it have different wording?

Jody, I received the first email before you changed it, I just left it alone and this morning I had an email from PayPal stating I sent you a payment. It said it was a subscription that was setup to automatic renewal once a year.

Thanks again for hosting a great site, although I haven't been posting much I still check in daily!! I'll be back soon!
