Default Stainless LS3 style MAF Bung?

Does anyone know if there is a stainless steel weld on MAF bung for the LS3 card style MAF? I would like to use stainless for my intake tube, but all I can find are aluminum bungs.

I saw on an older thread on Corvette Forums that Dallas Performance makes one, but they want $100 for it, compared to the $13 for an aluminum one.

Also, I would like to avoid a clamp in tube with the bung already welded on.

Any thoughts?

What?? Where are you seeing them for $13?

Do they have a stainless tube with bung welded on? Who makes that? See if they can send you a bung. I'm afraid you will pay the price no matter what.

They exist, we just had to find one for a nova project. When I get to the shop tomorrow I will look up the invoice and forward it to you.

You can get an aluminum MAF bung for $13, but its just a weld on bung.

I would like something like that but in stainless, but I dont think its gonna be available without spending a bit more cash than I would like.

There are other companies that make a short section of tube with the MAF bung already attached, but i wanted a cleaner look to my intake tube without a bunch of silicone junctions.

I agree though, it's gonna cost me to go stainless. I think I'm just going to stick with aluminum.
