Default Patina Touring

61 Parkwood Wagon done--made it to Columbus (9 hrs without issue)--Boris is the man! Ridetech front sway bar, air ride system, Billet Specialties 18 and 20 Boneville's with custom powder coating to highlight interior colors. Borgensen box (all cars should have one-holy difference!!), 700R4 etc. Adding some tunes and it is ready to cruise with kids and their friends.

62-- new project - EXCESS PARTS-- 454 stroked sbc with Borla FI and tremec 5 speed going in! along with air ride suspension and rear upgrades. Plan is to have it ready for parents 50th Anniv. next year (justifiied by the Anniversary Gold factory color) so they can enjoy it too. Maybe they would like an auto, but.......

Brad

PS this is what happens when you owned one of SW's cars and then return it to him--you realize paint and fit and finish are overrated

I hope that patina is here to stay. Those faded glory beauties look as good to me as any show finish. I would pass a row of gleaming paint to get a better look at your car!

What I hope is not here to stay are horse blanket seat covers and rusted, cobbled together interiors... or engine bays full of iron pipe and toilet parts and old mailboxes... but I digress...

My next build will have patina. I want a worn out farm truck look. It will remind me of my grandad every time I drive it. Down the road I would like to build a piece of automotive art like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqaSSmx2o38

Something with patina, but also many thoughtful details for people to discover.
