Default I need to relocate my battery to the trunk.

Who makes the best "Kit" to do that with?

Also, should I install a power bus under the hood so I can have one central positive access point for my current needs that are already wired near the current battery location (ie;electric headlight door conversion, stereo amp). I ask this because I don't want to relocate all of these wires as well.

Not sure about a kit as I built mine myself. Couple things to consider when looking at a kit is what type of main wire and size. Welding cable/wire works great because it's flexible and isn't terribly expensive. Also, and most important, is the main wire live at all times? This is a huge don't build that design or buy that design. So the design will need a Ford style starter relay in the trunk. The charge line running back to the battery should be on a separate circuit protected wire. This is safe because you can run a smaller gauge wire and the loads on it are much smaller. Besides, the alternator powers the car. You just need the battery to start the car. This leaves the big wire to do nothing other than start the car.

With that said, I have a circuit breakers and junction block hidden on the firewall of my car. All my power for the car comes off the junction block/post. The alternator and charge wire for the battery connect up there too. The circuit breakers are on the charge line and main leads running to the fuse block through the engine bay area. All the items being powered have their own fuses off the fuse block.

If applicable, don't do like I did and jump the S terminal on the starter to the main power lead. This will cause starter run on. You'll have to have the S terminal on the starter hooked to the same signal wire that closes the relay in the trunk. Both should be activated and deactivated at the same time.

I have pictures and possibly more info in my build thread.
