Default 1969 Camaro been trying to buy for 10 years !

Here is a 69 Camaro 30 or so years ago I helped paint this car. It sat apart
in a garage at this same house for years. Someone started putting it together some decades ago and is just sitting in the yard now. I asked my
friend 5 years ago again if he would sell it to me. My friend who now has 8 kids said that weekend he and his son were going to work on it. Well once a
year I drive by the house and snap another pic. I have dozens of pictures
the only thing that changes is more crap packed around the car. I don't even go close to the car because its likely rusted to hell. The same friend has a 1966 Corvette 427 (the bad ass one) that was in the Camaro sitting outside
with a rug covering it and that's been the case for at least 20 years. Crazy
isn't it ? Well 8 kids

I can SO relate to this story. I drove by a small house with a carport attached for 16 years weekly. There was a 70 Chevelle Malibu 307 car in the front yard. It was there from the first time I ever drove by. Had probably been there for a while already, when I first saw it. After a year or so, I stopped by to ask if the owner would sell, figuring he might, since it sat in the same patch of weeds untouched. Of course it was a quick no, followed by a "were gonna fix it up one day", or something to that nature. The attached carport I mentioned, was stacked full of junk. Bicycles, a lawn mower, coolers, trash bags, boxes and boxes of who knows what. Pretty much looked like a trash pile, to be honest.
Well I'd say 5 more years went by, and it hadn't been touched. So I stopped in again. Same answer again. Of course by now it was beginning to show some rust in the rear quarters. I waited another few years, and stopped in again. Same car, same spot, lots more rust, and same answer. Well this time I told the owner that he should really consider getting the car in the car port, and perhaps moving the junk in the carport out. Well he got offended, of course, so I left.
Last time I saw the car, it wasn't worth crushing. The car was white, but because of the rust, was more orangish brown from rust, than actual white paint.
