Are you working with pagan gold candy base (kbc) or candy urethane (uk)? What base color? What kind of overlap? 75? Gun set up?

Ok, gotcha. First thing you want to do is make sure your gun is spraying well. Ocne you feel good about it make sure you do 75-80% overlap and since you are working with the KBC a drop coat where you lower the air pressure and immediately mist on a quick light coat into the wet film should help even it up.

Is this the shimrin2? Can you use a little slower reducer in your area? (Non-VOC areas)

Yes using shimrn, I can use what ever reducer. What exreriance I have is with chroma base and nason, and if I spray pagan gold like it was chroma base it is horried ( moldiling ) when u spray chroma base and it looks a little moldely but once it flows out everything evens out ,well the house of kolors looks like that start to finish.I am having to spray real light coats to get it close to exceptable. It's like it's not flowing out ?

The HOK is a different animal than Chromabase for sure. It is a thicker base than Chromabase so it does go on a lot different. You may want to give the guys on the HOK tech line a call. I don't have any first hand experience with their new shimrin2 product.

Our match to pagan gold, called sunset gold candy graphic color base, is similar in color to pagan gold. With our product generally 2 medium coats with 75% overlap followed by a 3rd medium coat + an immediate drop coat get's a nice even candy finish.

The guys over on the tech line should be able to help you out.
