Default Need help with spc upper arms

I have spc upper a arms, ats stock height, stock lower arms. I purchased this some years ago. My issues from the pics is the upper arms are resting on the frame. My hours don't allow me to call marcus and just wondering if anyone here can help. I switch the upper ball joint to a tall to see if that would help which it did not. These are on. 71 chevelle.

normal if you are on jack stands. ie: not resting with the weight of the car on the tires.

You can use an airline cable (carefully routed) or get a shorter stroke shock.

Looks like a bare frame. You need the car fully assembled and at ride height before worrying about this. As it sits now the springs are not compressed under their normal load.

What springs did you use?

Don

I think we were posting at almost the same time. If its allready on the ground and thats ride height, you may have to notch the frame to make that work. I have a similar set up but they are not that close to the frame at ride height.

It may be my lower arms that help make it work.

I also believe the cross shaft is flipped. It looks like the the offset where the arm bolts to the cross shaft needs to be flipped. The slight offset should give you more clearance to the frame.

sorry, meant with weight on the suspension. suspension at mid travel. That upper ball joint should be higher than that.
