Default Seats

Hey guys, need recommendations on sport bucket seats for my 69 nova, kinda on a tight budget, so maybe something under $800 if that's possible. Looking for something that will be comfortable on longer road trips. Thanks all!

What about looking for OEM seats from a salvage yard? A lot of the newer cars on the road have rather good seats in them.

Cipher seats are pretty comfortable, I tried them at SEMA a few years ago.

Also check here, the rally seat looks and feels good. I had a set in a rock crawler and they were comfortable. Tried the evolutions at SEMA a few years ago and they felt good. Scat also has rear seat covers to match for several styles of seats. http://procarbyscat.com/seats

I ended up with Corbeau heated leather seats and made my own brackets. I wasn't looking for heated leather but found these seats on Craigslist and my buddy knew the guy and I got a deal I couldn't pass up, see post #6. If you want to go with Cipher see if TonySS is still a vendor for them, see post 7. https://lateral-g.net/forums/show...=seat+brackets

They feel firmer than stock seats, but still very comfortable to sit in....car is still being build so there hasn't been any long road trips yet. I removed the shoulder bolsters for a cleaner more "factory" look and had the rears covered in the same material.
