Default G-body Pro-touring rear sway bar saddle loaction

Hello all, been a while since I have posted anything, I am now getting back into my project to get it done over the winter.

In any case, the car is a g-body, with a 9" and back brace. I started modifying an S truck rear sway bar for a DIY pro-touring bar, but, I decided to just get something that fits right from go. I had already welded the saddles to the rear since they can't be clamped with a back brace, and the rear is all epoxy primer and painted up.
The bushing saddles are not right at the bends, they are 6-8" in towards the center. How would this effect the rear bar? I have seen the mounts in further like this before on rears with a watts link.

Here is a picture.

Any input is appreciated.
