Default The Barrett-Jackson Cup at Hot August Nights

The second annual Barrett-Jackson Cup is in the books. What an incredible event, drawing the top names in the industry to compete for the coveted Best in Show award. This years winner was a 57 Chevy pickup built by Hot Rod Garage and owned by Alan Beers.

I was there and able to see it in the flesh it's an amazing truck Jody, the rest of competition was outstanding.

I was amazed at the quality of the competition. It definitely attracts a lot of the biggest names in car building.

That truck was at SEMA last year and it was absolutely incredible. The engine and injection was something to see.

I noticed 4 of the top 5 were all on RideTech Air or Coil-Overs.

Not quite, but Hot Rod's coverage has many shots of the top 25. Look for photos with the wacky carpet. That's the Reno Ballroom where the top 25 are showcased.

There's already talk of cars being built for next year's Cup. ..And unlike other best-in-show competitions, we encourage builders to showcase their cars elsewhere before competing for the Barrett-Jackson Cup. It's cool to see many top contenders from previous competitions all under one roof.
