Ben, can you let me know what the part# is for the hub unit that is included in this deal?

I don't deal with the parts and sales and all, so I'm not sure. I do know we buy them direct from Chevrolet and they're the same hub/ bearing used on the last year ZR1 if that helps.

Thanks Sieg. But to be quite honest, I was asking because I am interested for other projects I have going, and know that at the package price being offered that the hub bearings advertised must be available at a GREAT price if they are indeed the 2013 ZR1 hub and was hoping that part# could be shared so I (and others) could benefit when needed. Didn't think this over the counter "GM" part would be so top secret....

There are reasons businesses choose not to make public all the specific part numbers they use. One of which is if we give out the part numbers we'll start getting calls for only our in house made part of the assembly.

DIY people often think they get a better deal if they resource their own non house parts, and in this case they'd call us and want to buy just a bare spindle from us. We have a very specific method of assembly for our spindles that can't be altered. To ensure this process is done correctly should be the ones to put them together and encourage anyone that buys ATS spindles to send them back to us for servicing if a hub ever were to fail. I've never personally heard of a hub failing. Having someone else install their own GM or even worse some offshore cheap imitation knock off hubs, well that's potentially a lawsuit against us waiting to happen if the assembly fails because they installed it wrong or the lower quality part broke. Quality control is important to us and your safety. It's easier and wiser to simply say we won't sell it without the hub installed. Those folks that want our bare spindle then get their undies in a bunch and start telling people we have bad customer service for not giving them what they want. To them we say we're not Burger King, and you can't have it your way, lol!

This all sounds a little stupid but it happens more than you might expect and can be very frustrating to businesses like us. I hope everyone can appreciate these sort of privacy policies that businesses cater to.

If anyone has Corvette spindles that you need replacement hubs for I'll bet there's some great info on 'Vette forums that will send you in the right direction, or you could call the dealer and ask what's the strongest hub you can install in your Corvette spindles. I'd bet they'd be glad to help you out and they'd be as strong as the GM hubs we buy direct from GM and install in ATS spindles.

Ben,

I have some of the same concerns as Ron. I have ATS spindles and ZR1 hubs that Blake had machined to fit early in the game. I am running a long lower ball joint stud to get the LCA geometry I need, but I want a set of your new (coming soon?) uprights with the lowered lower ball joint. I swap ZR1 hubs on a fairly routine basis (Corvettes), and of course I am not interested in shipping the assembly to get someone else to do my work. Also, all I would really like to know is where the "new" ZR1 hubs you are installing are made. If they are SKF with a GM part number, that is fine. If not, I want to know more about them (especially who makes them).
